THROUGH THE WINDOW

I saw your face through the window,
Your hair was so golden, your eyes were so bright,
One minute you were there dazzling,
And then you were gone, slipped into the night.
I went back to that window hoping to see you once again,
Perhaps you were only in my dreams,
Just a fantasy from way back when.
I keep on looking through that window into the night,
When your hair was so golden
and your eyes, oh so bright.
