SWEET DREAMS

When you go to bed and close your eyes,
Think of all things good and nice,
Silver moonbeams that shine a light,
One little thing you may dream tonight.

See four fairies dancing in a ring,
The man in the moon begins to sing,
Millions of stars, oh! What a sight!
Some of the things you may dream tonight.

Climb a rainbow to the end,
Holding hands, you take a friend,
Make a wish with all your might,
Some of the things you may dream tonight.

Riding a donkey on the beach,
Dangle a carrot just out of reach,
In case you slip, you hold on tight,
One of the things you may dream tonight.

Owls are hooting in the trees,
The wind, the branches gently tease,
Raindrops falling ever so light,
Some of the things you may dream tonight.

Riding at the funfair, everybody smiles,
Running through the meadow, you can go for miles,
Flowers all around, their colours are so bright,
Some of the things you may dream tonight.

There is no cheating, you must not peep,
All little children should be fast asleep,
But remember to tell in the morning light,
Some of the things that you dreamed last night.
