S.S.P.P
There’s Labour, Lib Dem and the Tories,
But I am the leader of the S.S.P.P.
If you want to know what those letters mean
They stand for the Silly, Sad Persons Party.
Last week my membership totalled two
It was me and Brother Billy.
But he’s decided to stand down
Because he didn’t like being silly.
So this week I’m canvassing sadness
With a little poem I have called “Gone”
At present my party hasn’t many members
In fact I am the only one.
So any new members are welcome
And there’s no special signing on fee
So come on all you silly, sad people
And join my new S.S.P.P.
