SPRING IS A HAPPIER PLACE

As little bunnies hop around
And daffodils do bloom
Now you’ve eaten all your eggs
It’s time for spring to resume

Winter has been dark and surly
Now most people have a smile
A bounce in their step, a cherry hello
For living is now worthwhile

The sun has a funny effect on us Brits
As we don’t like the cold. Why?
We need to snatch at sunshine
So we’re optimistic when we see blue sky

We are so desperate to wear our summer gear
So let’s  throw caution to the wind.
I’m just waiting for the next bright sunny day
To leave my winter woollies behind
