SEARCHING

What is it we're looking for.
Women if you get that perfect figure, will you get that man.
If you get a man, will you be all you can be, will you get everything in life.
What if he didn't listen to your opinion, just wanted a trophy wife.
Men what if you reach the top of your profession, getting the respect of your learned colleagues.
Early forties and still single.
Doesn't sound like anything we're looking for.
Women, what if you became "career women", independent and successful.
Men think your unapproachable, unobtainable, become resentful.
Men, what if you became "modern men", in touch with your sensitive side.
Get called a wimp, mummy's boy, get taken for a ride.
There doesn't seem to be an answer. The right way to be.
How about being confident, happy in your own skin. Happy being me.
Finding someone who complements you, not completes you.
Someone who sees you, and loves your soul.
The soul is where we should search, our own and others, as it holds the key.
