SEAN, WHAT YOU MEANT TO ME!

You have made me smile so much, laugh so much, even cry,

We have gone for walks, fed the ducks, seen the woods,
Collected stones, even sticks, climbed trees, picked the grass,
Gone to the shops, made other people laugh.

You just shine, my dear Sean, you love your baths,
Get the big jug, fill it up, pour it out,
And then to hear you shout at the top of your voice.

You are so happy, one big toothy grin,
“Go for a swim” you hear me say,
Blow bubbles, down he goes,
He just loves it, we love it.

“What’s the tape today? “Oh no, not Ghostbusters again,
Okay then, one more time”.

He watches it all, knowing what is to come,
All the sounds, all the moves, “No don’t stop, put it back on,
Okay then, sit on my knee”.
He loves it all, his little face is so full of glee.
