PARKIES BONES
Tell me a story about all my bones
All shapes and sizes and ones that have moans
Elbow and knee caps are prone to get stiff
Tarsals and carpals are smelly and whiff
Our fingers are deft and so are our thumbs
For picking our nose and scratching our bums
The cranium bone is fused on your head
Grey matter inside have pals that are dead
Neuro receptors and dopamine cells
Are helping us move by signals it tells
L-dopa is lost along these pathways
Then Parkies begins and lifestyle decays
The clavicle bone is perched on the spine
Whose vertebrae link and nerves they entwine
The pelvis does grind and shakes at the hips
The mandible jaw is covered by lips
Stirrup or stapes is part of the ear
So is the anvil and drum do not tear
The femurs are long and strong on your thighs
Patella below with sinew it ties
The fibula bone is under the knee
Its covered by calf and muscle you see
Tibia his friend is there with him too
Attached to the feet by Achilles and shoe
