NOBODY CARES
What’s happened to our country
Once known of the land of the free.
It seems to have taken a turn for the worst
Life ain’t what it used to be.
Everyone wants to be winners
Nobody’s wrong anymore
Humility’s fell by the wayside
Compassion as walked out the door.
The aim is to win by fair means or foul
And it’s hard cheese to you Jack I’m fine.
The values of old that we all used to cherish
Have got lost in the passage of time.
Life’s never been a flat playing field
And fate can be very so unfair.
For the sick and disabled in this modern rat race
Need love, understanding and care.
