MY MUM
As sure as night time follows day
And two and two make four,
You are the best Mum in the world,
The one that I adore.
You were just a sweet young girl,
When you gave birth to me,
You loved and cared, you worked and shared,
Your life and liberty.
And through my early childhood years,
You were always by my side,
Soothing all my cares away,
My play mate, my nurse, my guide.
So thanks for all your precious love
And in the years to come,
I’ll be forever by your side,
My dearest darling Mum.
