MORNING

Good morning day,
How good to see
Your smiling face awaiting me
Good morning sky,
Although you're grey
I feel you hide
A perfect day.
Good morning trees,
In Winter, bare
But much wild-life
Is sheltering there.
Good morning birds
And squirrels too,
My thanks for all
The things you do
To make me feel
The day's begun
And it will be
A happy one.
Good morning world,
My spirit could sing,
With all the wonder
That you bring
Into my heart
Each bright new morn
And every day
I am re-born.
