MEMORIES OF MUM
All through my early childhood years
My mum loved and stood by me.
She worked hard, cared and shared
Her life and her liberty.
That’s why I’ll never forget my mum
As Christmas time draws near.
This festive season of goodwill
As many memories I hold so dear.
Of Santa Claus and jingle bells
And presents round the Christmas tree.
But the one memory I’ll cherish most of all
Is the memory of my mum who loved me.
