It's never too late to start again,
No matter what others may say,
Achievement is such a rewarding thing
Especially late in the day.
Of course when young, one always felt
The confidence to conquer all,
That hill was not too steep to climb,
No obstacle too tall.
With youth behind comes a different view
Of the things one would like to attain,
One realises that the way will be tough
But there's a desire to try once again.
That latent talent one had long ago,
That's been hidden away somewhere,
It may bloom again if we give it a chance,
With practice and polish, it's still there.
There is more time now the children have left
To study or pursue an art,
It's a wonderful feeling, it renews one's life,
All that's needed is a strong will to start.
Let nobody tell you, it's too late to commence
Some special pursuit in your mind,
The rewards are great, after so many years
And such joy in achievement you'll find.
