FUNNY BUNNY RUN
On Sunday nights the young bucks came,
To Dronfield for some fun.
To try their luck with the local doe’s,
On the Dronfield bunny run.
They came on buses, bikes and cars,
Dressed in their Sunday clothes.
Wide bottom trousers, platform shoes,
All to impress the doe’s.
The main run stretched from Alma crescent,
Down to the Palace way.
With warrens running either side,
Where the bucks and doe’s would play.
So to all the old bucks and doe’s,
With granddaughters and grandsons.
Why not tell them of the times you spent,
On the Dronfield funny bunny run.
