FIRST BORN
Life can never be the same,
Now you’ve joined the family game,
Of bottles, bibs, and feeding times,
Lullaby’s, and nursery rhymes.
Windy burps from upset tums,
Smelly nappies, powdered bums.
Tumbles, bumps, and other frights,
Gummed up eyes from sleepless nights.
Toys strewn all around the floor,
Playmates knocking at the door.
Whether it be a girl or a boy,
Your first born will bring you so much joy.
