ET TU BRUTAI
Honourable men Marc Anthony said
Senator Brutus, and Caesar thats dead
Cassius, helping to slay his best friend.
Ears of the Romans the Tribune did lend
I come not to praise at Caesar's demise
the evil men do and who they despise.
Interred with his bones with knife in his breast
here, under leave of Brutus and the rest
Honourable men are Brutus and friends
they are the senate who make all the trends
guilty ambition was Caesar accused
but he was my friend I always amused
Julius was God to many in Rome
refusing the throne, so many did groan
thrice I presented upon Lupercal
three times refusing was so radical
Outside the city in cohorts of 10
Mark Anthonys army were all patient men
trusting their general to make the right move.
Anthony Caesar would fit in the groove.
One name forgotten was Caesar's own son
away on a mission when murder was done
seeing his father, wrapped up in a shroud
Octavia promised to make his dad proud.
Conspiracy failed and Law was upheld
honourable men, all of them failed
when thrusting his knife to make Caesar sway
looked into his eyes saying Et tu Brute
