ENTERTAINMENT
I watch my cat with bemusement
as she has found something for amusement
she picks it up in her front paws
tapping it back and fore
what has she got?
Sitting at the front of her little white sock
she has found a little white button
now she has managed to get it stuck on
the large white radiator in the living room
what do I do? Do I let her feel the doom?
As she is unable to retrieve it or do I give it back to her
She knows she really shouldn’t have it, she looks at me and lets out a purr
For a moment I pause
worrying about her claws
I obtain her pink fluffy mouse
to protect the furniture in the house
I purchased a scratching post
that is where she likes spending her time most
hitting a post here, leaping at one level and another
whack what was that, oh it’s mother
mouse there are two mice in her toy
She clouts them and chases them on their elastic strings oh joy.
