CLIMATE CHANGE
Old mother earth’s climate is changing fast,
She’s heading for a huge disaster.
Unless we cover that increasing ozone hole,
With a giant sticking plaster.
Our climates getting warmer,
And it’s also getting wetter.
I’ve had to hire a rowing boat,
To post a bloody letter.
One minute there’s a bright blue sky,
The next it’s raining cats and dogs.
Rivers and ponds are over flowing,
And full of croaking frogs.
Towns and villages are flooding,
Residents walk in water up to their knees.
Soon they we will be skating on ice,
When the water starts to freeze.
The summer breeze is a thing of the past,
With the easterly winds gaining power.
Now we have tornadoes, hurricanes,
Hail storms and the odd heavy snow shower.
Old mother earth’s climate is changing fast
She’s heading for a disaster.
So please! Is there anybody out there?
With a giant sticking plaster!
