CELEBRITY BEARS PICNIC
Down in the forest lived a family of bears,
In a quaint little log cabin without any stairs.
Just two bedrooms, a bathroom, a lounge and a kitchen,
Where Mummy Bear did all her cooking and stitching.
Father Bear ‘Teddy’ kept bees for their honey,
He found it a good way of earning some money.
For ‘Bobby’ their one and only young son and heir
Needed food, some clothes and a small rocking chair.
Father Teddy Bear said to his wife and young son
“Would you like to go out for a walk and a run?”
For when the clock in the hallway strikes six
We’re going to set off to the Teddy Bears picnic.
It’s deep in the forest near the Honeycombe Falls,
There’ll be games for the young cubs and food for us all.
It’s not that far away, in fact it’s quite near
It’s a great old tradition that takes place every year.
There’ll be Black Bears, Brown Bears and Polar Bears too,
Big Panda’s from China who feed on bamboo.
Yogi and Boo Boo from Yellowstone Park,
Celebrations will go on till long after dark.
‘Pooh Bear’ will be there too, he’s quite funny,
He just comes along to get stuck into the honey.
‘Old Baloo’ will be there with his Jungle Book tricks,
He’s always the star at the Teddy Bears picnic.
