BUG GRRR OFF!!

You sit and log-in to websites,
I bet you feel safe and sound
As you browse through days and nights,
Make no mistake, I am always around.

I WILL get you, one way or another,
Of this you can be sure,
I work in stealth, go undercover,
Disguised as good and pure.

No, I am not some friendly little pet,
And I will get to you one day,
I am a nasty bug, living on the 'net,
Your computer is my prey.

Once there I will lay my many eggs,
Which will hatch so swift and spread,
All I will leave you is tiny dregs,
And your computer will be almost dead!

I can spread so far and wide,
Into places you may never know,
There are many avenues where I can hide,
So many for me to go.

Oh, Yes! I shall get in and have my fill,
Of that there is little doubt,
I shall do damage at my will,
Because I am a mugger, a thief, a lout.

The moral of my tale is this to you:
Be protected from nasty things,
If your modem or router lets one through,
You'll be sorry for the mess it brings.

I have sat for hours trying to rid my machine
Of a bug, that seemed to scoff,
But, at last now, I hope everything is clean,
And I’ve seen the nasty bug grrr off!
