BABY JESUS
In a dark and dismal stable,
On a cold December morn.
In the little town of Bethlehem,
Baby Jesus Christ was born.
T’was a day of great rejoicing,
Three wise men came from afar.
Bringing with them gifts to treasure,
Guided by a dazzling star.
When they saw the baby Jesus,
In his cradle crude and bare.
They presented him with gifts
Of gold, frankincense and myrrh.
For they knew he was their saviour
God’s son sent from heaven above
To save the world from Satan’s power
With his own undying love.
